APRO Joins the Marines
Phoenix, Arizona, November 10, 2005 APRO, the Air Park Resources Organization, LLC, a resource and membership organization for valley businesses looking to gain a competitive edge in the Scottsdale Air Park, have joined forces with the United States Marines and their Toys for Tots Foundation. APRO is proud to support this famous effort to supply toys to the needy and under-privileged children during the holiday season.
We are honored to be a part of such a worthy cause and excited by the support we are receiving from our business membership and their willingness to have collection boxes at their location. With the current level of enthusiasm of our APRO members we hope to collect 500 individual toys at our 10 Airpark collection sites. Our members are committed to the community and we will exceed that goal, according to Karl Knelson, co-founder of APRO, whose organization supports many local charities recommended by APRO members.
The APRO-sponsored collection sites are located in the Scottsdale Airpark Corridor and greater North Scottsdale area at banks and restaurants. Those looking to help or obtain locations can find more information at www.APROscottsdale.com
Collection boxes are available from November 11-December 15 during normal business hours. Collected toys will be forwarded to the local Toys for Tots coordinator for distribution. Toys are urgently needed for this cause.
APRO is a membership-driven organization that focuses on specialty networking events, informational seminars, sales and marketing training and technical symposiums for its members. All events are free for members, $10 for non-members and require advanced registration. In addition, APRO attracts members representing a variety of professions who either have offices in the Scottsdale Airpark or wish to provide services to those businesses that do.
